After the meeting FUFA President was full of praise for the Speaker whom she thanked for the opportunity to host them and listen to their views.

“We are so grateful to the Rt Honourable Speaker for accepting to meet us. We have talked to her about the upcoming AFCON qualifier game and its great importance to Uganda as a country but most importantly she has offered to talk about the general situation of sports in the country as a whole and what the parliament can do about it. We are going to use the opportunity to talk about the old and archaic sports law and improved government funding of sports’

The FUFA President commented about their meeting.

Hon Denis Obua who is the captain of the Uganda Parliamentary football team also attended the meeting.
