FUFA President off to Qatar

The FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo has flown out of the country to Doha, Qatar for a meeting with FIFA after a special invitation was extended to him by the world’s soccer governing body.

Magogo who made history by becoming the first Ugandan FA president to hold a bilateral meeting with FIFA President Sepp Blatter after a special invitation early this year, is relishing the opportunity of rubbing shoulders with the big wigs of football.

‘FIFA appreciates our development agenda and strategy instead of our AFCON Qualification and will always support Uganda with such initiatives. As FUFA we shall always seize our opportunities’ FUFA President Magogo told the federation’s official website fufa.co.ug

Magogo who is a FIFA Instructor for sports marketing and administration will be away for a week and return in time for the preparation of the Uganda Cranes two remaining 2015 Nations cup qualifiers against Ghana and Guinea this month.
