The FUFA President Lawrence Mulindwa on Thursday afternoon visited the former federation General Secretary Haruna Mawanda at International Hospital-Kampala (IHK) where he is currently admitted following a road accident.
Mulindwa was received at the hospital by several relatives who included Mawanda’s wife and mother. “I urge all Ugandans to continue playing for him so that God grants him a quick recovery”, said the FA leader shortly after walking out of the Intensive Care Unit where Mawanda is admitted.
The Federation leader offered cash contribution of UGX 1.000.000 towards the hospital bills. Mawanda was on Monday afternoon involved in a road accident at Najjanankumbi along Kampala-Entebbe road.
