Today 10th October 2019, FUFA is in receipt of the official letter from FIFA about the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.
As earlier communicated by the FUFA President at the 95th FUFA General Assembly in Adjumani on 28th September 2019, the FIFA letter (Adj. ref. no. 22/2019) confirms the agreed position of invoking article 67 of the FIFA Ethics Code of application of the Plea Bargain and consequently Eng. Moses Magogo will be out of National and International football activities for a period of 2 months effective 10th October 2019.
Eng. Magogo is also required to pay 10,000 CHF within 30 days from today and this will be the conclusive closure of this matter.
Following similar procedures for 2014 FIFA World Cup as the case was for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups, there was an anomaly with regulations governing FIFA World Cup Tickets and the FUFA President opted to take responsibility in order to conclude the matter.
During the 2 months, the FUFA 1st Vice President Mr. Justus Mugisha will act as the FUFA President.
It is Our Game, It is Our Country.
