FUFA President Mr. Lawrence Mulindwa has this Wednesday handed over a total of 3000 balls to the Federation Competitions committee for distribution to lower division leagues.
Thirteen (13) FUFA Zonal chairpersons walked off with balls matching the number of the 4th Division (Formerly referred to as the 1st Division) clubs in their respective areas of jurisdictions. The regional chairpersons too, received the balls for the clubs in the eight FUFA Regional Leagues.
Addressing the Zonal chairpersons before receiving the balls, Mulindwa urged the members of his executive committee to ensure that the balls reach the targeted recipients on schedule.
This year alone, 634 District League clubs have benefited from this annual arrangement that has seen over 10.000 balls given out to clubs in the last four years.
