Uganda FA president Lawrence Mulindwa has sent a congratulatory message to the newly confirmed General Secretary of the Confederation of Africa Football Association, Mr. Hicham El Amrani.
In his statement, Mulindwa described Hicham’s confirmation on duty as being great news to the entire continent.
“Please accept my personal congratulations upon this achievement” reads part of the letter dated November 2. The letter signed by the FA President himself further reads, ‘The entire Uganda football fraternity is pleased and hopes for future cooperation and support as we develop the game of football in our continent’.

In another message issued the same day, Mulindwa also congratulated the newly elected Kenyan FA President Mr. Nyamweya Sam.
“It is believed that the cordial relationship between our two associations will flourish during your reign, as we build football in our region. Nyamweya was elected new Kenya FA president on October 29.
The third message went to the newly selected President for the Federation of Rwanda Football Association (FERWAFA), Mr. Celestin Ntagungira.
“On behalf of the entire Ugandan football fraternity, I wish to send you our official congratulations upon this achievement” reads part of the letter to new FERWAFA boss.
