.Micho playing a key role in creating good partnerships between FUFA and other federations in Europe
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) would like to inform the football fraternity that Mr. Milutin Sredojevic is still the head coach of the Uganda Cranes despite recent media reports linking him with clubs on the African Continent.Sredojevic also still has six months on his contract with FUFA.
FUFA confirms that Sredojevic is on a working leave in Europe.
During his stay in Europe, the Serbian will within his means as a member of the Uganda Cranes technical team represent the interests of the federation to find opportunities for long term contacts between FUFA and other federations in Europe as well as clubs in Europe which will culminate into player development.
There are good signs already that the coach’s visit to Europe will yield results soon.
‘I am still loyal, focused, committed, dedicated and working hard towards football development in Uganda’ Sredojevic told www.fufa.co.ug.
He added ‘I believe in the knowledge and leadership of the FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo. My desire to promote Ugandan football is insatiable.’
FUFA believes this statement will dispel all ongoing rumors and wrong information surrounding the absence of Sredojevic from the country.
