The FUFA Competitions committee has fixed the new date for the Super Cup. The one legged match between FUFA Super League champions KCC FC and Uganda Cup winners URA FC will be played on Saturday 2nd August 2014 at Wankulukuku stadium with kickoff set for 4pm. The change in schedule comes after CECAFA brought forward the kickoff date of the Kagame Cup due in Kigali in which KCC FC will be representing Uganda.
The Super cup is played as an opener for the new season and between the champions of the FUFA Super League and champions of the Uganda cup of the previous season.
According to the FCC Manager Ali Mwebe, each team will be allowed to use up to seven substitutes. The game will head into penalties in case a winner isn’t decided at the end of the normal 90 minutes.
