Herman Wasswa scored another winner as Kampala City Council Authority football club punished Vipers SC 2-1 in the FUFA Super League at Lugogo today. Last week Waswa notched the lone goal that gave the reigning league champions a 1-0 win over Simba FC away in Bombo.

At Lugogo, one of KCC’s youngest revelations Derrick Nsibambi had put the Kasasiro Boys in the lead only two minutes from kick off before Wasswa doubled it three minutes later.

The fast paced match saw Vipers SC coach Edward Golola try various tactics and paid off when team captain Robert Kimuli headed in from a corner kick in the 34th minute.

We want to punish every team in the remainder of the season as we focus on keeping our position as champions at the end of the league. I am grateful to my players for playing according to instructions and if they continue like that, no doubt we shall be champions’ said KCC FC coach George Nsimbe to www.fufa.co.ug after the match.

The win consolidated KCC’s at top of the 16 team league log with 49points in 24 matches and relegated their victims to the fourth place with the fourth loss and one game more.
