Saturday: Proline vs CRO-Wankulukuku
Simon Okwi’s well headed 50th minute effort was the only difference as Sports Club Victoria University beat Jinja based side, Bul 1 -0 at Namboole Stadium during one of the 5 Good Friday FUFA super league fixtures.
SC Victoria University’s victory that pushes them joint top of the league with 49 points (same as KCC, who have played a goal less) was however dented by a terrible hamstring injury to Mathew Odong.
In the other games played, Karim Ndugwa gave SC Villa the lead in the 67th minute lead at Nakivubo Stadium, but the record champions succumbed to a late Masaka surge as Derrick Ssemere equalized for the visitors.
At Buikwe stadium, Vipers and Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) played to a goalless draw.
Vipers and URA stilled have the same number of points (46) with the same number of game played (26 apiece).
Express won 2 – 0 over Soana football club at Wankulukuku Stadium to accumulate 26 points and thus leap frogs Simba who drew goal less against Entebbe football club at Bombo military Stadium.
Entebbe rises a point up the ladder (now on 23 points).
Proline plays CRO at Wankulukuku Stadium on Saturday.
