The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) will take part in the Kabaka Birthday run due 12th April, 2015.
The commitment and confirmation was made today by the FUFA President Eng.Moses Magogo at the Vision Group offices when he made humble contribution of one million shillings (UGX1,000,000) to the organisers.
Proceeds from the run will again go towards the prevention and cure of fistula — a disease that has affected hundreds of women in Uganda.
The run will cover these areas; Kabaka’s palace, the Kabaka’s lake, Bulange, Kasubi tombs, Rubaga and Namirembe Cathedrals and the Uganda Museum.
The event will flag-off and finish at Lubiri. It will have 5km, 10km and 21km categories.
The President was also at the Vision Group offices where he was hosted on Bukedde FM’s sports show between 2-4pm by Muzamilu Mayiga. He ably answered many football related questions asked by the hosts and callers.
‘FUFA is in support of the Kabaka’s birthday run. Our staff will take part to support charity aimed at raising awareness in the community about fistula amongst women in Uganda’ said FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.
