The inaugural FUFA Tv cup tournament is one game away from it’s climax as the highly anticipated finale edges closer.
St. Mary’s College Kisubi and Kiira College Butiki are the two sides that will battle off in a one-legged final that will be played this Saturday 8th July 2023 at the Muteesa Two Stadium, Wankulukuku at 3pm with free entry granted.
It should be noted the initial date for the final was Friday 7th July at the same venue starting at midday before the organising committee rescheduled.
To storm the finals, Kiira College Butiki came from behind to defeat the hosts 1-3 in the semi final return to qualify 8-4 on aggregate.
On the other hand, SMACK outclassed the home side Jinja College School in the return leg as they defeated them 0-2 to complete a double thus sailing through to the final on 1-4 aggregate.
Following the semi finals, a total of 33 goals have been netted with Kiira College Butiki’s Gift Fred Mutalya the leading scorer with 7 goals while SMACK have conceded only one goal.
