FUFA Delegation representing the FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim through the Chairman FUFA Tv Cup Organising Committee Dr. Apollo Ahimbisibwe, delegated the Secretariat staff led by Communications Director Ahmed Hussein for an official visit of the Headteacher Lubiri SS Mrs. Agatha Ssenyonjo to discuss football related matters.
The FUFA Referees Manager Samuel Egesa and FUFA Competitions Officer Benjamin Ashaba Aheebwa were part of the delegation that discussed the ongoing FUFA Tv Cup played under the theme ‘Excellence in academics and sports.



One of the objectives of starting the FUFA Tv Cup was to re-introduce the game of football in the traditional academic giants by providing a fair competitive platform for the traditional secondary schools with the rest of the schools in Uganda. Many traditional schools have been struggling to participate and even missing out on schools’ competitions’
The Delegation also explained further to the Headteacher the contribution of traditional schools to Ugandan football. Most if not all, the traditional schools in Uganda provide a conducive environment for students to play their favorite sports in school.

During the jovial meeting, the Headteacher was grateful for the invitation by FUFA to allow her school to take part in the FUFA Tv Cup this year.’

‘I thank FUFA for granting us an opportunity to play in the second edition. Our school is very much interested in taking part in all competitions but football being the most liked sport, we shall do all it takes to support the football team.’ She said.
A souvenir of the FUFA official competition match ball Zakayo from the FUFA President was presented to the Lubiri SS Headteacher.
