Uganda Cup (Quater-finals):

Vipers 0-1 Paidha Black Angels

Sadolin Paints 2-1 Onduparaka

FUFA Big league club Paidha Black Angels caused one of the major upsets in the on-going Uganda Cup when they eliminated the reigning champions, Vipers following a 1-0 result at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende on Sunday.

Fred Ameko scored the game winner after 29 minutes to book a semi-final slot.

At the Nelson Mandela National stadium, Namboole, host club Sadolin Paints overcame Onduparaka 2-1.

Fred Kyambadde and Nasser Muzamiru were on target for Sadolin Paints.

Samson Ceasar Okhuti pulled a goal back for Onduparaka, who were last season’s losing finalists.

The other two quarter-finals will be played in the coming weeks. Police awaits the winner between Kataka and KCCA as URA will host Express at the Mehta stadium in Lugazi.

The final of the Uganda Cup for this year will be held by the West Nile region.
