The FIFA Instructors Coaching Course organized by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations(FUFA) concluded at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru Jinja on Friday.
A total of 25 participants attended the course conducted by FIFA and German instructor Erick Rottemoller.
The course was held for six days from Sunday 25th up to Friday 30th
Speaking at the closing ceremony FUFA 2nd Vice President Darius Mugoye thanked FIFA for helping FUFA organize the course.
‘This is an inaugural Instructors Coaching Course in the country and I am sure the participants gave their best. This is a very important part for the development of the game’ said Mugoye.
He also asked coaches to continue with the hard work and thanked them for the efforts put in during the course but cautioned them to avoid football politics.
Meanwhile Instructor Rotemoller said;
‘I would like to thank all the participants for the dedication you have shown during the course. The course went very well. FUFA deserves a lot of credit for making this course a success’
Bamweyena Douglas, on behalf of the participants, thanked FUFA for providing such a course for the betterment of football. He also said that the instructor not only helped them learn from the course but he was very coorperative.
