In 2015, Kawempe won the thrilling final 3-2 against Buikwe She red Stars who had a dismal show this season.

Having edged UCU Lady Cardinals in the last four stage thanks to a Hasifah Nassuuna first half goal, Kawempe managed to set up a clash with She Corporates who defeated Gafford Ladies 2-1.
