Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC continued with their brilliant start to the season, picking yet another win over the weekend.

Fresh from defeating reigning Champions Kampala Queens in midweek, the Valley Warriors bagged yet another victory, this time obliterating new comers Wakiso Hill WFC.

In the game played at the Valley Ground, Kawempe Muslim won 5-0 thanks to a brace apiece ftom Agnes Nabukenya and Yudaya Nakayenze. The other goal came fron Hadijah Nandago.

The result meant Kawempe Muslim kept their stay at the top on 13 points same as Kampala Queens but the former have a superior goal difference.

Kampala Queens made a quick recovery from their disappointing loss on Wednesday by defeating Lady Doves 2-0 in Masindi.

Catherine Nagadya tucked home as early as the second minute before winning a penalty midway the first half that was converted by Sumaya Komuntale.

This marked the first win for newly appointed Kampala Queens head coach Charles Ayiekoh Lukula.

Elsewhere, She Maroons FC did not find any hardships in overcoming Makerere University who were unbeaten until Sunday.

Lillian Kasuubo opened the scores shortly after the break before Jackline Adong added two goals.

At Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Rines SS WFC had to come from a goal down to edge Asubo Ladies and register their first win of the season.

Everlyn Nassuna had given the visitors the lead but Patricia Nanyazi scored at the stroke of halftime and also converted a stoppage time penalty to give Rines all three points.

The encounter between Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC and UCU Lady Cardinals ended in a one-all draw. Sandra Kisakye fired the Cardinals into the lead before substitute Kevin Nakacwa found the equalizer.
