Kawempe Muslim maintained their stay at the top of the table after registering a convincing win over Uganda Martyrs Lubaga on Sunday.

In the game played at the Valley Ground, Kawempe secured a 3-0 win to end the first round on a high.

Jolly Kobusingye opened the scores in the first half before Agnes Nabukenya and substitute Hadijah Babirye added a goal each.

The result took Kawempe to 21 points from nine games, two ahead of Kampala Queens who have a game in hand.

Kampala Queens overcame a reslient Wakiso Hill side 2-1 at MTN-Omondi Stadium thanks to goals from Zaina Namuleme and Zaina Nandede.

The consolation for the Antelopes came from Rashida Nankya.

At Makerere University Main playground, Asubo Ladies ran riot, claiming a 4-2 win over the hosts.

Kamayita Naigaga ochestrated the damage for Asubo, bagging a hat trick before Teddy Nafwono added the other other goal.

Makerere got their goals through Sharon Namatovu and Daphine Nalubowa.

Elsewhere, Lady Doves outwitted Lady Doves, winning 5-1 at home against Rines SS WFC.

Captain Lydia Nyandera and Olivia Babirye scored a brace each while Margret Namande added the other.

Rines got their goal through Jesca Ayerango.

The game between She Maroons FC and UCU Lady Cardinals ended in a barren draw.
