Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga continued with their impressive run in the FUFA Women Super League following a dominant display against Olila High School on Wednesday.

The Lubaga based outfit who are unbeaten since match day one when they lost to Kawempe Muslim were in ruthless form on Wednesday overcoming Olila High School with a 3-0 win.

Youngster Latifa Nakasi scored a first half brace to give Roger Nkugwa’s charges a perfect start in the game.

The two goals meant Nakasi who is only palying in the league for the first time took her tally to six this season, same as leading goal scorer Fazila Ikwaput of Lady Doves.

Midfielder Esther Naluyimba scored the third goal for Uganda Martyrs to seal the victory.

The result lifted Uganda Martyrs to second place on the log with 13 points, three behind Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.

Kawempe on the other hand laboured to snatch a point away against a resilient She Corporates side in the game played at Luzira Prisons Ground.

She Corporates who had lost 2-0 to Olila High School over the weekend, put up a better perfoemance and created the better chances in the game but failed to put them away.

Lanky forward Favour Nambatya and new signing Ronah Nantege all came close for the Nakawa based team but were not efficient in front of goal.

This was the first time Kawempe Muslim failed to secure maximum points in a game after winning all the previous five.

The result meant Kawempe maintained its grip at the top on 16 points while She Corporates remained 6th on the log with 7 points.

Both Kawempe Muslim and She Corporates will return to action on Sunday at home against Lady Doves and Uganda Martyrs High School respectively.
