Fazila Ikwaputs’s brace helped Olila Women FC beat rivals Eastern Heroes while Taju Nambozo also netted twice to see She Mak get past Rines SS and Kakukngulu Memorial eliminated Uganda Matyrs after a solitary goal from Nowellin Namiiro.
Kawempe Muslim Junior team got the better of eternal rivals Gadahfi Integrated courtesy of a Stella Musubika’s goal.
Teams through to the next stage will be drawn with those that got byes into the round of 16. The teams that got byes are; Kawempe Muslim, UCU Lady Cardinals, Mutesa I Royal University, Kampala Queens, Buikwe She Red Stars, Ajax Queens, Garfford Ladies and She Corporates.
This is the iaugural FUFA Women’s cup played on a knock-out basis.
