As the local football action comes to a climax, the respective FUFA Zones are being engaged in various mini league competitions, aimed at promoting teams from the 5th division to the FUFA regional leagues.
In the FUFA Zone 1 action, Keolu Super Boys from Kaberamaido District emerged champions after a 2 – 1 victory over Soroti Future Stars in the finals.
Elsewhere, the Buganda FUFA Zone 4 matches are currently going on at Seeta Church of Uganda in Mukono district.
The matches started on Sunday (1st June 2014) and will run until the next Sunday (8th June 2014).
