Indoor football (Futsal) in Uganda continues to garner steam at a very steady rate.
This is attributed of the end-less endeavors put in place by the Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) as fully mandated by Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) to run and develop this virgin version of football.
The first ever Futsal mini league has been going on for the past month with action at the Lugogo Indoor Arena every Tuesday night.
“It is an after work arrangement which suits my working and playing plans. I love futsal. Thanks to FAU and FUFA for this game” Muhammed Beldarine, one of the admirers of the game confesses.
On Tuesday, 3rd May 2016, it will be match day 10 with four matches lined up.
With the current table leaders out of action, this will be a golden chance for the two chasing clubs, Accumulators United and Riham to play catch up to the top team.
Typhoons plays Italex in the opening game at 7 p.m. Second placed Riham will take on Zak Sports in the second game.

Accumlators versus LFC will be the third game before FC Patriots against Emporio Milano to crown the night.
One of the officials attached to FAU, Bashir Mutyaba tells www.fufa.co.ug that the fixtures are spiced up with a reward to the man of the match award to create competition;
A pizza is given to the man of the match so that we create that healthy competition

The futsal mini league is the first of its kind in the entire CECAFA region with plans for the main league in advanced stages by the stage of the next season.
Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) is entirely responsible for the entire match day preparations, officiatation with a running active secretariat.
