Goals Galore for Hippos against Busoga United In Practice Match as CECAFA U20 Looms

Uganda U20 7-0 Busoga United

The Uganda  U17  National team (Hippos) scored goals for fun as they faced Busoga United FC in an entertaining practice match played at the FUFA Technical CentrE in Njeru on Sunday evening.
Charles Lwanga and Najib Yiga scored for the Hippos in the first half of the game while Sadam Masereka had a hattrick written on his name together with Ivan Asaba and Said Mayanja’s goals made it seven for the Hippos.
The team assistant coach Hamzah Lutalo told that he is amazed by his boys’ performance and seeing a steady process ahead of the CECAFA U20 Challenge Cup.

‘It was a nice exhibition from the boys. I am delighted that the boys are putting into action what we have been practicing. Scoring goals has been one of our challenges and step by step we are overcoming it therefore if we continue this way, we shall go places’ Said Lutalo

Uganda is preparing the team for the CECAFA U20 tournament to be played in Gulu and Njeru.

Denis Otim, Kevin Ssekimbega, Aziz Kayondo, Garvin Kizito, Kenneth Ssemakula, Davis Sekajja, Andrew Kawooya, Ismail Mugulusi, Ivan Asaba, Thomas Kakaire and Saddam Masereka.
