The Uganda Hippos on Friday morning took their second flight from Accra to Tamale over 400Kms north of the Ghanaian City where they will play the hosts in the return leg of the second round of the Africa U20 Youth Championship qualifiers this Saturday.
The team left Hotel M-Plaza in Accra where they had spent a night around 6:00am in the morning and by 8:15am they had already embarked on their flight that lasted 45 minutes. In Tamale, the team in hosted at M-AS Hotel a short distance to Tamale Sports Stadium.
The Leader of delegation and Vice President in charge of Technical matters, Mr. Stone Kyambadde says, the team was well received by their hosts and that the environment is very friendly to them.
The game that will be broadcast live on Central Broadcasting Services (CBS 89.2) FM will kick off at 3:00pm (6:00pm UG Time). The team will have an early lunch before proceeding to the stadium. Kyambadde has called for prayers in the task Uganda is undertaking this evening.
Meanwhile, the people of Ghana continue mourning their fallen Head of State as the majority don the black and red colours.
