
The world football governing body (FIFA) has appointed a set of four Ugandan Referees headed by Ali Kalyango to decide the fate of South Africa’s Bafana-bafana against Central Africa Republic in the 2014 world Cup Qualifiers match due on March 23 in Johannesburg City.

Kalyango travels with Balikoowa Musa and Bugembe Hussein as first and second assistant referees respectively. Denis Batte is the standby referee on the official list released by FIFA.
In a similar development, CAF has also named the same first three officials to be in charge of the CAF Champions League match between St. George of Ethiopia and Djoliba of Mali (Mali) on March 17. Brian Nsubuga will be in Addis-Ababa as the fourth official.
Elsewhere, Denis Batte will travel to Burundi for the CAF Confederations Cup match involving hosts Ludic Sportive FC and Motema Pembe of DR Congo on April 6. Others on this set are Ssonko Mark, Kanakulya Khalifan and Kalema Ronnie.
