Kampala Province will have a tough task to negotiate in the 2nd leg Quarterfinals of the FUFA Drum after falling to Buganda in the 1st leg clash by a narrow 1-0 loss at Bishop SS ground in Mukono on Sunday.
Buganda’s Allan Kayiwa was the turning point for the home side when he was fouled by Kampala Province goalkeeper Hamza Muwonge inside the area in the 8th minute.

URA FC midfielder Shafiq Kagimu made no mistake to convert the penalty spot.
Kagimu had an opportunity to add the second but his free kick was thwarted by goalkeeper Muwonge in the 28th minute.
Martin Kizza, Neson Senkatuka and Godfrey Lwesibawa were close to scoring for the vistors in the first half but their efforts went way ward, just as Buganda defenders, Walusimbi Enock, Allan Mugalu and goal Keeper Nicolas Sebwato were on alert with great performance to deny Kampala any chance to level the score.

The intensity of the game was high in the second half as the visitors took control creating chance after chance in the first quaryer after recess but yielded little impact.
The visitors continued to dominate the game for most occasions but squandered more than five chances they created in second half and failed in their quest for an equaliser .

Buganda’s midfielder Allan Kayiwa was named Man of the Match and received his accolade plus sh.100,000 prize money presented to him by Chief Guest FUFA Vice President Darius Mugoye.
Both Provinces will meet in the 2nd leg quarterfinals next weekend at Lugogo.
