Lubowa attends Technical Directors’ course in Malawi

Uganda’s Asuman Lubowa is among 15 participants taking part in the FIFA Organised course for Technical Directors in the East and Central African region in in Blantyre, Malawi.

The course that started on Monday and ends on 29th January, 2016  is held at Chiwembe Technical Centre 15 Km from the Capital in the district of Chichiri.

Lubowa is the FUFA Technical Director and this course will help him and other participants in discussing matters inclined to management, share of knowledge and technical expertise.

The course will also help participants keep uptodate with FIFA’s developmental programmes around the globe.

The course was officially opened by the Minister of Youth and sports in Malawi Grace Chiumia while Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President Walter Nyamilandu was also in attendance.

FIFA’s Jurg Nepfer said ‘Technical Directors are pillars of football. They need to be well equipped with information that helps in developing the game’

Lubowa’s office handles Youth Development, women soccer, beach soccer and futsal.
