The Ugandan traveling contingent to Malawi for the July 6th International build up finally left the country at 8:00 pm on Sunday for Malawi via South Africa.
This was after a delay by South African Airlines since the team was supposed to leave early Sunday morning.
The traveling team of 28 people (18 players and 10 officials) used South African Airways, flight SA 161.
We shall spend the night in South Africa before departing for Malawi on Monday morning. We are expected in Blantyre on Monday at 10:00 a.m
Darious Mugoye, the team head of delegation confirmed the full programme.
Uganda will use the build up which will be played on Malawi’s Independence day as a warm up for the CAF U-23 match against Egypt on July 18th 2015.
