Marketing & Sponsorships: Buganda Region Football Association partners with City Sports House

The prime agenda of FUFA and the member associations is to lure as many partners and sponsors to the support the beautiful game in the country.

In line with the aforementioned goal, FUFA has empowered all her member associations to lobby and solicit for sponsors in the name of building the base of football.

Buganda Region Football Association through Zone one and Mukono District Football Association (MDFA) are on the spot.

City Sports House has joined hands with the zone with a kits sponsorship estimated at Ug.shs 10M for 4 years.

The sports selling house will provide uniforms to the four clubs per season – the best in Mukono DFA league and the finalists at the Zone one mini league.

This was revealed at the official kits handover ceremony held at Mukono Satellite beach.

The function was also graced by the Buganda Regional Chairman Andrew Kaweesa, Buganda Zone 1 chairman Daniel Yenka, City Sports House Director, Peter Ssebufu, among others.

‘We are happy that our clubs will benefit directly from this sponsorship.We call upon the clubs to optimally put to use this sponsorship and in return support City Sports House. We also rally the fans and other clubs to join the bandwagon. I call upon more sponsors and partners to join the struggle of supporting our football development’ Kaweesa appealed.

Yenka lauded City Sports House for the timely support.

‘There is no better way to appreciate this partnership and support than us supporting you and recommending many other clubs and teams to buy sports equipment from you’ Yenka said in his submission.

The event was also attended by the region CEO Brian Ssejjemba, DFA Vice chairman Alex Isabirye, who represented the chairman Michael Kakande, Steven Ssemakula (Sales Executive, City Sports House), club officials as Muhammed Nkangabwe (Bukerere F.C), Jamil Kintu (Sowadu),  Ali Kiwanuka (Buikwe Red Stars Finance manager), Moses Lubega Wojulubu (Kayunga District representative), Drake Ssentongo (Mukono DFA Executive Committee member and sports journalist), Baster Sseyonga (Sports Journalist), Ahmed Ssemanda and Baker Sserwadda, as well as the media.
