With 3 games to play, Jinja based FUFA Big league side Sadolin Paints are the first team to get promoted to the FUFA Super league after beating second placed Rwenshama 2-0 at Bugembe stadium on Thursday.

First half strikes from Nasser Nsubuga and Fred Ssegujja won the day for Sadolin Paints.

The victory means Sadolin (39points) is now 10 points clear ahead of the second placed Rwenshama (on 29) in the Elgon group.

In the other Elgon group fixtures played yesterday, Hope Doves were beaten 1-0 by Jinja SS/Kirinya at Namboole stadium while Kumi University drew 1-1 with Mbale Heroes in Kumi.

In Rwenzori group, Lweza stand a chance to earn 3 goals and 3 points after Mvara Boys failed to honour their fixture at Lweza.

At Buziga Islamic school play grounds, Artland K and The Saints played to a 1 all draw.

Badru Ssekanyi notched Artland’s opener in the 38th minute before Nelson Ssempagala headed Vianey Ssekajugo’s cross 2 minutes later.

At Kitezi play grounds, home side, Wandegeya recorded a 1 – 0 win over Ndejje University.
