Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ;Micho’ Sredojevic believes that FUFA has had a full month of assessment and is happy with the progress in terms of the technical set up of the three National teams (U-23, CHAN Squad and Uganda Cranes).

In this period, Uganda will have three National teams featuring in the Africa U-23 Championship (2016 Olympic Qualifier tournament), 2016 CHAN and 2017 AFCON Qualifiers.

Uganda will play either Rwanda/Somalia May, 2015 in Kigali for the second round 1st leg of the Africa U-23 Championship with the return leg set for a week late in Kampala.

The training of 46 CHAN and U-23 team players kicked of last Sunday at the Philip Omondi stadium, Lugogo and will continue this Sunday with 50 players at the same stadium.

For the Cranes players who will be off season, Micho believes that there is a strong plan by FUFA to keep individual players fit physically and mentally as they prepare or the game against Botswana.

‘Training camps will be organized for the players who will be on recess from the leagues so that we keep them fit for the game against Botswana’ said Micho.
