The Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named his 25 man squad to start preparations for the final round of the African Nations championships (CHAN) against Sudan.
Uganda and Sudan will play over two legs next month on 17th at Nakivubo stadium and 24th in Khartoum for the return leg. The winner over two legs qualifies for the CHAN finals to be hosted by Rwanda next year.
The team will train once this weekend on Saturday at Nakivubo starting 9.30am. The same squad will be used for the Cranes regional tours this year starting next weekend in Masindi.
Uganda Cranes coach Micho noted after releasing the squad;
‘We highly value and sincerely recognise and appreciate the immeasurable contributions of local based players and coaches towards Uganda Cranes. With this weekend,one training session intended to help the team gel means we are starting early preparations for upcoming CHAN qualifiers against Sudan’
