Uganda Cranes head coach Miultin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has organised a trial match tomorrow that will see his senior team take on a selected team of players from the Uganda Premier League falling in the Under-23 category.
The Serbian who took 15 players in the drills today at Namboole stadium will use the trial match to select a final squad that will take on Ethiopia on Sunday in an international friendly played under a campaign codenamed ‘Protect the goal’ aimed at reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS in Uganda.
Tomorrow’s trial match will kick of at 4pm at KCC Stadium.
Meanwhile Uganda Cranes stars Tony Mawejje, Moses Oloya and Yunus Sentamu will jet in tomorrow. The trio has been named by Micho in his preliminary squad for the match against Ethiopia.
