The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has resealed the design of the Uganda Cranes jersey with the latest modifications on the current kit to be used at the 2017 AFCON Finals in Gabon.
‘The modifications are a completion of the job on the current jersey that went on market in 2014. The modified jersey will be used at the 2017 AFCON Finals’ said FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein.
‘This will always remain a historic jersey with good designs that the Uganda Cranes used when they qualified for the continental soccer show piece after 39 years of waiting’ added Hussein
The modifications on the current jersey have been handled by kit manufactures Errea and submitted to CAF.
Ugandans to participate in Uganda Cranes new jersey for 2019 AFCON campaign
FUFA will launch a campaign soon to get the best designs from the public which will be handed over to a kit manufacturer.
‘The best design will be considered as the new Uganda Cranes jersey which will be used during the 2019 AFCON campaign’ revealed Hussein.
A date will be confirmed for the launch of the campaign where more details will be released.
