More players turn up for Uganda Cranes training ahead of Eastern Regional tour

At Mbale Regional Stadium (4 p.m)

More players have joined the Uganda Cranes non-residential ahead of the Eastern Regional Tour on Saturday.

The team bus leaves for Mbale on Friday morning.

Eight players joined the Tuesday training session which took place at Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo .

These included James Alitho (GK), Denis Iguma, Murshid Juuko, Isaac Muleme, Ibrahim Kayiwa, Joseph Ochaya and Fahad Bayo.

One of the foreign based players who is training with the team Hassan Wasswa Mawanda has vowed not to give any chance to the Eastern Region team.

‘Any team which gets an opportunity to play the Cranes wants to prove they are better, so we must give our best’ noted the dread locked Wasswa, who plays for Iraq Premier league side, Al Shorta Football Club.

The team training resumes on Wednesday at the same stadium.
