The star-studded MTN FUFA Awards 2024 was held at the Kampala Serena Hotel on 30th May 2025 and it was full-house.
While making his remarks, the Chairperson Organising Committe who also doubles as a FUFA Executive Committee Member Rogers Byamukama couldn’t hold back his excitement while giving the opening remarks.
‘Tonight is a beautiful day. We are not here to just celeberate footballers but also everyone who supports the beautiful game. We pledge that the 2024/2025 Season Awards will be much bigger than this.’ – Rogers Byamukama, Chairman Organising Committee
The FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim while speaking to the audience expressed joy that the event is back and live on FUFA Tv.
‘The last time we had awards, I mentioned that the next event will be broadcast live and now FUFA Tv is doing exactly that.’
The FUFA President also emphasied the need for the awards to be held earlier to avoid the overlap.
‘We intend to have the 2024/2025 Awards before the end of this year. This will help us overcome the overlap we have experienced in this edition.’
