As days draw closer to the Western region tour and CHAN 2018 Kenya qualifiers, the Uganda Cranes coach Sredejovic ‘Micho’ Milutin  has stepped up the team’s training with two sessions on Wednesday both in the morning and evening at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Midfielder Shafik Kagimu is among the players summoned and training with the team ahead of the triple engagements on July 8th, 14th and 22nd 2017.

In an exclusive interview with www.fufa.co.ug, Kagimu expressed his delight for the call up to the National side and vowed to give in the best of his ability to impress the coach.

The stylish URA midfielder promised never to give up as he steps up in his efforts for the coach and technical team to keep considering him for the upcoming engagements.

Training resumes on Thursday evening at Namboole before the team departs for Kabale on Friday morning.
