NATIONAL TEAM: Cranes Safely Back from Malawi

The Uganda national team, largely composed of Under 23 players safely arrived back from Malawi, from where they had gone to play in the international friendly game.

Uganda lost the game 1-0 after falling to a late strike from striker Msowoya despite a brave display.

All the traveling officials and players came back safely with South African Airways on flight SA 160 at around 7:00 p.m.

The head coach, Milutin Sredojevic remains positive about the lessons learnt from this build up game.

The match exposed the youngsters to a great experience of playing away from home. We contained the Malawians well earlier on. We have picked the positives and we shall work on the negatives before the up coming CAF U-23  Qualifier against Egypt
