Ahead of Wednesday’s international friendly match between Uganda Cranes and the Nigerian Super Eagles, 8 locally based players have trained at the KCCA Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday morning.
The players who have trained under Coaches, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sedrojevic and his assistants, Fred Kajoba and Kefa Kisala had a brief one and a half hour session.
They are all expected back on Sunday at 11 a.m before the final traveling team will be named as per the earlier programme.

The 8 players who trained on Saturday morning are, Ismail Watenga, Ibrahim Kiyemba, Joseph Nsubuga, Robert Sentongo, Faruku Miya, Kezironi Kizito, Shafiki Bakaki and Chrizestom Ntambi.
Derrick Tekkwo, who had been earlier summoned could not make the team because he traveled with the national beach soccer team, The Uganda Sand Cranes, who have an away engagement in Ghana on Sunday.
The team departs on Sunday evening aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
