North East League: Bukedea in the lead

The North East Regional League that kicked off on November 18 resumes this coming Monday, December 5.

Table leaders Bukedea Arrows FC with six points will host Kumi United at Bukedea Primary School. Kick off time is 16:00hrs. According to the Zone 1 chairperson Ibrahim Maraka, the tournament is progressing well with Ngora Freda Car FC in a second place. Maraka called for discipline among the players, officials and fans and warned that disciplinary actions would be taken against any culprits.

The newly appointed zonal chairperson also called upon other sports stakeholders in the region to mobilize the fans to watch these games.

In the past games, Ngora Freda Car walloped Bukedea Arrows 4-1 while Kumi United and Bukedea Town council played to a goalless draw last Monday. Amuria Crane City edged Ngora Freda Car 1-0 after the later had lost 2-1 to Bukedea Town council.
