The Cranes had their last training session at Philip Omondi stadium on Friday afternoon before checking into camp at the African Bible University in Lubowa.
“With due respect to our opponents and the game of football I have asked my players to relax and enjoy their game tomorrow. We have worked so hard to correct the few mistakes that I and my technical team noticed last weekend and also tried to resolve our biggest weakness last weekend of lacking efficiency at converting the chances we got.” Micho stated after the training at Lugogo.
‘I trust and believe in the abilities of the players we have and don’t want them to put any kind of pressure on themselves. if anyone should be under pressure it should be me and not them. I want them to be at ease, play and enjoy the game I know we shall get the result we want; a result that is going to make all Ugandans happy and proud but at the same time entertain.’ Micho added.
After a goalless draw in the opposite fixture, Micho’s charges needs to win to qualify for the 3rd and last round of the qualifiers set to meet the winner between Rwanda and Tanzania who face of in another fixture of the qualifiers.
