Arua City side Oasis Primary School has won their first Odilo Championship with a 2-0 triumph over Kawempe side Habanomu Quality Academy in the Final that happened today at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Two goals were scored in both halves. First, a sensational finish by Monday Stella put Oasis in the lead. Then, Captain Happy Jackline Joseph beat the opponent’s defence to net the second, giving the West Nile Champions their first Final win after losing to Aterai Primary School in the final of the previous edition.
The Oasis Primary School team Head Coach, Mr Mawa Mas Jordan believes that this milestone win has been as a result of their preparations right from the first edition of the Odilo Championship, something they have never missed coming into ever since then.
‘When we came for our first edition, we learnt a lot,’ he said.
‘We had to lay down our tools and sit to plan on having a team, that maybe one day would be a Champion in this Odilo (National) Competition,’ Mr Mawa added.
Habanomu Quality Academy who earlier beat Oasis Primary School in their Group A second game just had a bad day in office, with several opportunities created, including an empty net miss by their lead hunter, Hudah Sabanu, who was later named the Championship Most Valuable Player (MVP) given her fantastic display through out the edition.

In the Third Place Final also played earlier in the morning, Odilo Championship 2025 Girls Top Scorer Nabakooza Cathy scored to guide her side Bergen Nursery and Primary School to a third place finish after battling to a 1-all draw with Prime View Education Centre from Tororo before going to win in the shootouts 4-3. Naluwaga Hannifa was on target for the Eastern Uganda Champions who had come into this years edition unbeaten, through the District and Regional stages.
