Odilo Championship 2024 (Girls’ Edition): Oasis, Habanon, Aterai and Source of Light advance to Semifinals

The group stages of the 2024 edition of the FUFA Primary Schools Competitions, Odilo concluded on Tuesday afternoon at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Aterai Primary School and Source of Light advanced to the semifinals from Group A with seven and five points respectively while Good Foundation and Ineza Parents finished with three and one point respectively.

Ineza Parents Primary School from Kisoro suffered a heavy defeat, losing 8-0 to Masaka’s Good Foundation. However, the result was not enough to see the Buganda Region representatives advance to the semifinals. Natasha Kisakye scored a double brace, Annet Nakalanda added a brace, while Natasha Ayaziika and Darrington Nalweyiso each scored one goal.

Source of Light Primary School played out a goalless draw against Aterai Primary School.

In Group B, Oasis Primary School topped the table with seven points while Prime View Education Centre came second with five points.

Habanom Quality finished third with two points and Hope Primary School ended with one point.

The last Group B games ended on a high note for Oasis Primary School when they overwhelmed the Northern Region representatives Hope Primary School with a 6-0 victory. Zuhaira Mansur and Happy Jackline each scored a brace while Jane Babiray and Pamela each added a goal.

Prime View Education Centre drew 1-1 against Habanon Quality Academy with goals coming from Mwasiti Acham of Prime View and Saidat Nabukenya of Habanon.
