Oasis Annext Primary School from Arua in West Nile region will play against Rays of Grace Primary School from Buikwe, Buganda region in the inaugural final of FUFA Primary Schools chmapionship code named ‘Odilo’ on Wednesday 7th August 2019 at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
For starters, fans from West Nile and Buganda will keenly follow this contest with huge interest. West Nile and Buganda played in the final of the inaugural edition of the FUFA Drum in Arua last year. The home side (West Nile Province) conceded a late goal to hand the trophy to Buganda. Wednesday’s final will provide another platform for West Nile to bury the ghosts against Buganda’s representatives in the Odilo Championship started by FUFA for Primary schools in Uganda.
The final kicks off at 4pm in Njeru.

Oasis Annext overpowered Eastern region winners Busumbu Primary School with a convincing 5-1 victory. Oasis got the lead from Toure Yahaya before Sharif Twaha hit the net twice. Fideli Moses and Ajesto Bushira were also on target for the West Nile champions. Wabesa Hussein scored for Busumbu Primary School.


During the second semifinal on Monday evening, Rays of Grace edged Nothern region champions Bright Valley Primary School 2-1. Kasanya Leonard scored a brace for Rays of Grace while Oyella Christopher for Bright Valley.



The two schools (Oasis Annex and Rays of Grace) will represent Uganda in the upcoming FEASSA Games in Arusha, Tanzania from 15th-25th August 2019. FUFA will facilitate both teams.
In the classification matches, Citizen Parents from Kampala region overcame Western region champions Green Valley Primary School by 2-1. Balaba Francis scored a brace while Aryatwijuka Viera pulled off a consolation for Green Valley.



Kitara region giants Tooro Boarding Primary School defeated God’s Grace Primary School from North-East by 4-0. Arinaitwe Sharif scored a double. Tumusiime Nicholas and Atugonza David netted the other goals.


Both Citizen Parents and Green Valley will meet in the classification match on Wednesday.
