Odilo Girls 2025: Bergen, Habanomu, Nyakisura and Prime View Win on Match Day 2

Bergen Nursery and Primary School have continued with their scoring prowess on Match Day two of the Odilo Girls Championship 2025, putting six past Aterai Primary School, who are yet to pick up a win in the tournament. Raudah Nabisubi put three past Aterai goalkeeper, Nabakooza Cathy, who scored four yesterday this time around registered a brace and Namuli Saudha scored the other. Substitute Akol Salume scored the only solo goal for Aterai Primary School.

In the other game of Group B, Prime View also picked up its second win against Amuca Primary School. Naluwaga Hanifa’s brace secured the three points despite Ajok Sila getting one for the Lira City side from the Northern Region.

Matchday Two saw Oasis defeated by three goals to one in front of their travelling fans from Arua City. Habanomu Quality Academy’s Sabanu Hudah made it upon herself to deal with Oasis Primary School, registering a first-half hat-trick. Oasis, however tried to overturn the result, with several attacks launched through their left wing led by Jackline Happy Joseph, only for her to pull back a single of the three goals they had already conceded.

Backed by her brace today, Lydia Kirungi helped extend Nyakasura Junior School’s 1-0 halftime lead to a three. Atubemu Moreen scored a solo goal for Rwamuhaga Primary School.

Today’s Match Day two leaves the Odilo Championship 2025 with only a game for each school in their Groupings of four per; to be played tomorrow morning.
