Azam Uganda Premier League Results-Tuesday
Onduparaka 1-0 Vipers SC
Sc Villa 5-3 Bright Stars FC
Sadolin 0-0 BUL
Shaban Muhammad is a hero when he goes back home to Arua. The lanky but deadly striker makes use of the status never to disappoint his home fans across the country. Fresh from making his international debut for Uganda Cranes against Zambia on Tuesday last week at Namboole and also making the 23 man squad for the 2018 FIFA world cup Russia Qualifier against Congo Brazzaville, Shaban was fired up to show his fans the tricks he had picked up from Cranes camp.
He faced Vipers-the same club that denied him Uganda Cup glory in Kampala last season.
This time, his minds were on helping his club Onduparaka FC collect maximum points against Vipers SC.
He never disappointed his fans as he netted the only goal of the game that sunk Vipers in Arua on Tuesday evening in the Azam Uganda Premier League. Onduparaka are yet to lose at home this season on their debut show in the top flight.
Shaban is now on 7 goals together with KCCA FC’s Geoffrey Serunkuma.
At Namboole stadium, Bright Stars FC took the lead but little did they know what was in stock for them from Sc Villa Jogoo. The Blues won 5-3 against the Kawempe based side that missed their head coach Fred Kajoba who lost his Uncle.
Joshua Kawadwa, Martin Kivumbi and Fred Segujja were on target for Bright Stars while Paul Mbowa, Martin Kizza, Alex Kitata, Tadeo Lwanga and Abel Eturudde got the goals for the Jogoos.
The other match-the Jinja derby ended 0-0 between Sadolin and BUL FC.
