Pepsi Beach Soccer League: Nkubi scores 4 as second round kicks off

Nkubi Brian netted four times on his debut for Makerere University Business School (MUBS) as the second round of the Pepsi National Beach soccer league kicked off on Sunday at Lido Beach Entebbe. Nkubi who hit headlines last week for his move from defending champions St Lawrence University to MUBS, showed class and skill as he netted half of his team’s goals against Zai Plaza. MUBS won 8-3. His departure left a huge gap in his former team’s camp as it was evident yesterday with St Lawrence University suffering back to back losses in the league.

Nkubi has now scored 24 goals in 8 games played so far this season. He ended the first round on 20 goals and remains the leading scorer in the league.

St Lawrence were beaten 5-2 by Makerere University in. Muyingo Nicholas scored all the five goals for MUK in the University battle.
