Confederation of African Football (CAF) held a two day club licensing seminar in collaboration with Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) at May Apple Hall, Imperial Royal Hotel in Kampala on Thursday, 28th April and the subsequent day.
www.fufa.co.ug brings to you the full pictorial of what transpired in the enriching seminar attended by Club Chief Executive Officers (CEO’s), FSL Board members, Ministry of Education and Sports officials (National Council of Sports), Security operatives, Sports, Science and Technology, State House, Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC), KCCA, Stadium owners/managers and the FUFA Licensing Committee members.
The Club Licensing seminar objectives are; Safeguard the credibility and integrity of club competitions, Improve the level of professionalism within the football family, Promote sporting values in accordance with the principles of fair play, as well as safe and secure match environments, Promote good governance in clubs, Promote transparency in the control of clubs, Prevent ownership or influence over of more than one club.
FUFA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Edgar Watson moderated the seminar with three CAF Instructors Hack Raymond (South Africa), Sunday Kayuni (Tanzania) and Nicholas Musonye (Kenya) who arrived on Thursday.
The seminar was sub divided into three sections as Infrastructure, Sporting Criteria and Administrative with intentions to uplift professionalism of the clubs and improve quality as well.
