Pictorial: Victorious Uganda Cranes return back home safely

The triumphant Uganda Cranes contingent that traveled to Sudan for the CHAN 2016 qualifier returned home on Monday afternoon aboard Ethiopian Airlines on flight ET 334.

They were ushered home by the FUFA Vice presidents, Justus Mugisha, Darious Mugoye, Hamid Juma (head of technical and FUFA Executive committee member), FUFA communications director, Ahmed Hussein and the eagerly awaiting host of journalists. captured the team’s arrival at Entebbe International Airport in photos.

Uganda won the return leg 2-0 courtesy of Caesar Okhuti and Faruku Miya’s first half goals, to make it 4-0 on aggregate and qualify to the finals that will be staged in Rwanda.
