PRAU FUFA run ends successfully at Lugogo

It was a run organized by the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) in relation to every participant’s health.

FUFA led by its President Eng. Moses Magogo together with Uganda Cranes players were the main attractions of the show that started at NCS, Headquarters in Lugogo.

Different Generations of Uganda Cranes at the PRAU FUFA run on Friday at Lugogo. Savio Kabugo led the current crop of Uganda Cranes players while Hakim Magumba and Hassan Mubiru stole eh show as well.

The 10 km run drew runners from all walks of life including the members of PRAU.

Minister of ICT Hon Frank Tumwebaze was the Guest runner and he managed to complete the run with ease.

FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo (M) took part and finished in a respectable position.

FUFA President who flagged off the runners then joined the race, beat off young and fit participants to finish in a respectable position.

Uganda Cranes players Saidi Keni, David Owori, Albert Mugisa, Savio Kabugo and Nelson Senkatuka enjoyed the top positions during the race from start to finish.

The trio Keni, Owori and Mugisa were in the top three and won themselves Gift hampers that had Decoders and Dishes from event partners Kwese Free Sports.

FUFA Marketing Director Esther Musoke (L) also took part in the PRAU FUFA Run on Friday.

Former Uganda Cranes players Hassan Mubiru, Edward Kalungi and Hakim Magumba drew crowds around them as some runners confessed that they used to hear the stars on radios or read about them in the papers.

FUFA also made a presentation about the institution which was followed with a video showing all the highlights of activities for the past four years.

‘Allow me to thank the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo for accepting our invitation to take part in the run. I believe the gathering today will take us much closer and get to know more about FUFA. It is not a day of politics or keeping on offices. We are here to improve our health’ added Tumwebaze.
